The Detroit Jacket debuted in 1954. Inspired by the classic garage jacket, it is cut shorter in the body to sit at the belt line. Its easy movement and unmistakable silhouette have kept it relevant for more than seven decades.
Its character comes from a corduroy collar, front zip, two welt pockets and a zipped chest pocket. Triple stitching and the square Carhartt label complete the design. Early versions came in denim with a blanket lining; Dearborn Canvas versions followed.
At KXM, black and brown meet three different finishes: the roomier, quilted OG, the classic Detroit Jacket and the washed Destroy Wash. See how color and texture change the feel of the same enduring style, then find yours.
